Job Description
- Develop and manage preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs.
- Supervise the maintenance of equipment, including: cleaners, dryers, roasters, crushers, grinders, cocoa butter presses, conveyors, boilers, compressors, refrigeration units, electrical systems, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), and instrumentation.
- Reduce unplanned downtime and improve equipment reliability through Root Cause Analysis (RCA), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair).
- Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team and strengthen their technical competencies.
- Manage the maintenance budget, spare parts inventory, and supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures, work permits, and safe work practices.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills Description
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- 8–10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a management role.
- Experience in the food processing industry or cocoa processing is an advantage.
